Stephanie was born in Saskatchewan and was raised by her Mother in Vancouver.  She is a member of the Saulteaux Nation.  Stephanie has three sisters:  Alison, Teresa and Peggy who are also artists. 

In 1984 Stephanie was introduced to a local Heiltsuk artist.  She learned the coastal style of painting through study, and her bold strokes reflect this coastal tradition. 

As a highly skilled artist, Stephanie’s career stands out among other coastal artists in that she is one of very few whose paintings are solely original. 

Stephanie continues to live and paint in Vancouver.  We are fortunate to represent this caliber of artist.
